Rag & Bone, New York:
I have always been a huge fan of Rag & Bone but now it’s official, I’m in love. The spring show completely wowed me. Yes, it was a classic Rag & Bone show but it was perfect. The sporty style that Rag & Bone displayed was nothing but fantastic. The show consisted of only flat sole shoes, slip on dresses, and an array of everyday pieces. In the audience celebrities like Hailey Baldwin, Anna Wintour, and Kiernan Shipka watched with wide eyes.
Vera Wang, New York
I’m obsessed with the boyish/punk theme that Vera Wang has been displaying lately. Vera Wang always impresses me because the label has such a wide range of clothing. Whether its a stunning ball gown or a super cool mesh crop with short shorts, the brand kills it every time. The show had an amazing audience also. Some of the front row guest were Serayah McNeill, Kylie Jenner, Rita Ora, Jason Rembert, and Bella Thorne.
Tommy Hilfiger, New York
This show was by far the most fun to watch. I loved the ’70’s Beach in Jamaica’ vibe and I couldn’t stop smiling while watching the show. The main pieces of the show were either colorful sun dresses or the cutest little bikinis. Gigi Hadid was the face of the show and I loved watching her walk the runway and look so comfortable.
Givenchy, New York
This show was absolutely unforgettable. I knew Riccardo Tisci would make the show great but he went way beyond expectations. The ready-to-wear collection was very sleek and light. The runway was filled with silk, lace, and of course neutral tones. I adored everything about the show, the huge audience filled with everyday people, the live music, and the view off the Hudson River pier was gorgeous.
Karl Lagerfeld has always pulled out something extremely original for his Chanel shows. Recently, he has been turning everyday places into trendy runways. For spring 2016 show in Paris, Lagerfeld turned the runway into an airpot terminal and it was genius. The show displayed a tons of colors and many different patterns.
What a show. Maria Grazia and Pierpaolo Piccioli did a fabulous job at standing out in Paris with their African styled show and diverse pieces. Many people seemed mad at Grazia and Piccioli for making the show African themed because some thought it was racist but I thought it was just cool. Come on guys, the show was complimenting African style not making fun of it.
