L.A EATS

Los Angeles is like home to me, as I am spending a lot of time here this summer, I have made a mental list of my go-to spots. Between trying new places and going to places that have brought me memories during previous years. Here is my guide to some of my favorite places to have a meal, grab a coffee, and indulge in a desert!

GJELINA

Located in one of my favorite streets to walk down, Abbott Kinney. Great for a special occasion or just to enjoy a few appetizers. With burnt pizza crust and amazing toppings, it always leaves me wanting more.

CAFE GRATITUDE

You may look at me and say “never in a million years” as it is a 100% organic plant-based restaurant. Cafe Gratitude radiates with positivity and you will leave happy and full.

SALT & STRAW

If you are looking for ice cream that will change your life, go to Salt & Straw. Beware, the later it becomes, the longer the line expands. Also, located in Venice, this small ice-cream shop is full of unique flavors and is nothing like you’ve had before.

INTELLIGENTSIA

I am a coffee addict. Every single day I have been in the city, I have tried a new coffee shop. Although, I am always left wishing I had gone to Intelligentsia. In addition, their baked goods are delicious as well.

SUGAR FISH

Looking for the best sushi in LA? Sugar fish is the place! They do not take reservations so be prepared to wait, but once you sit down and finish your dinner…you’ll be glad you stuck around for the wait.

FARNSHOP

In my favorite neighborhood in all of Los Angeles, there is an adorable outside shopping center called the Brentwood Country Mart. At Farmshop you can either sit down for a fresh  meal or buy pastries, pre-made foods, and other groceries.

MALIBU FARM PIER CAFE

There is nothing better than watching the ocean while you are enjoying a meal. Located on the edge of the Malibu Pier, the cafe feeds its customers local and small farm food.
