Last night, the party of the year, better known as the Met Gala, was held in New York City at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Each year, The Met throws the most exclusive exhibit showing and party which hundreds of top celebrities attend. This season, the art museum’s costume exhibit is celebrating the works of the Japanese designer, Rei Kawakubo of Comme Des Garçons. The exhibit, Art of the In-Between, holds 140 works of Kawakubo dating from the 1980s up until her current collections. Rei Kawakubo is one out of the two designers to be the spotlight of the whole exhibit due to her rule-bending fashion statements that have been globally embraced by top fashion designers and editors. Everyone’s favorite part of the night is of course, studying the attire of our most loved celebrities. Over my 24 hours of Instagram stalking everyone who attended the gala, here are my favorite looks and Instragrams of the evening which captured the theme and night beautifully.
